Off to a good start! Got to spent some time in January with Washington State Hospital Association’s new Vice President for Membership and Communication, Rhonda Curry. I was lucky to work with Rhonda when she was at PeaceHealth and again when she was at Fred Hutch. She is a warm, experienced professional, and she’ll do great. After five great years at WSHA, it’s been a real luxury for to be able to transfer knowledge and provide continuity on important projects. I’m really excited for them!
I’m also joining Kelly Evans at Sound View Strategies on a project for the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. I have a huge place in my heart for community colleges– they are such a crucial resource for our state, and am excited to be helping to tell their story.
New this week is a project for the Northwest Kidney Centers. They are expanding their services into Federal Way and Fife, which will provide tremendous benefit for patients in those communities. In addition to providing tremendously important dialysis services, they are also a non-profit with a strong history of education and kidney research. They have a really interesting history and an exciting future! Learn more here.
